NAIROBI: Kenyan women take to street to protest harrassment of women over dressing

 
A video of a Kenyan woman who was stripped naked by men on a street in Nairobi last week for dressing 'inappropriately' has sparked outrage in the country leading to several protests. Many women from all spheres of life and social class took to the streets of Kenya to protect the harassment and has called the government to bring to book all the men responsible for sure an illegal act. (read more plus photos after the cut)....

According to reports, in the video which was uploaded to Youtube (but later removed about 4 days ago because it violated the Youtube's terms of service) showed that the woman was taken to a bus stop and seen surrounded by men who assaulted her for allegedly dressing improperly. 


However, Kenyan police are investing but the protesters have also started a #MyDressMyChoice campaign, for such is sexual harassment. See more photos from the protest below...
