PHOTOS: Usain Bolt returns to Munich for Oktoberfest

On Friday, Usain Bolt, the double Olympic 100m, 200m and 4x100m champion attended the famous annual16-day beer festival in Munich which attracts over six million people every year for the second time.

The event began in 1810 and runs from late September to the first weekend in October each year.

Bolt-28, who is known for living life in the fast lane was seen in high spirits as he tried out the beer on offer while in the company of a buxom blonde. 

Usain can be seen sporting the traditional German attire with a green checkered shirt and olive high-top Puma trainers, having a whale of a time, posing for pictures, and pulling his signature pose which no doubt went down well with the crowd.

Man murders friend for poking his girlfriend on Facebook

Scott Humphrey-27, who killed his pal after finding out he 'poked' his girlfriend on Facebook, has been jailed for four years.

Scott Humphrey repeatedly punched Richard Rovetto-29 during a row in a cab on the way back from a stag do, causing him to bleed from the nose - then delivered the fatal blow, knocking his friend to floor and causing him to bang his head on the pavement.

The Mirror reported that Nottingham Crown Court heard that Humphrey, angrily asked Mr Rovetto "If you're such a good friend why did you poke my missus?" "Richard Rovetto said he didn't know it was his girlfriend. The exchange became more heated." Humphrey, of Bestwood Park, Nottingham, admitted manslaughter and was jailed for four years and four months.

Judge Gregory Dickinson QC, sentencing, told him: "When you and him went out that evening, violence and death were the furthest things from your mind."You didn't intend to kill him. Part of the tragedy is that it's left to chance what happens. There will be a fight like this somewhere tonight and the person will get up and go home and the police will never hear about it.

Photos: Dozens Killed at a Hindu Religious Festival

At least, 32 people have died and many others injured in a stampede at a Hindu religious festival-Bihar-Northern India.

Bihar chief secretary Anjani Kumar Singh told the BBC that many of those killed in the incident in the state capital of Patna were women and children. Also 24 other were injured.

The stampede which broke out in Patna's Gandhi Maidan, as celebrations for the festival of Dussehra were being held-a festival where effigies of the demon king Ravana are burnt to mark the victory of good over evil-draws huge crowds.

Local journalist Niraj Sahay, who was at the scene, says an eyewitness told him that only one of the exits was opened for people to leave, as fear grip the crowd,which thought the some wires that fell were electricity wires, BBC Hindi gathered.

I had this vision of what’s happening right now. Like I’m very bad, like I’m the baddest girl in Nigeria which is not true. So, my vision is actually to see my posters in people’s bedrooms and stuff like that. I want to be that sex symbol one can imagine of.

Why do you want to be a Sex symbol?

Because it works abroad. It could work here too. I had my challenges. They are still there but there’s no stopping me because I know that for anything new you have to fight for it

But why are you leveraging on being a sex symbol?

Because sex sells. I want to make money and also, I want to make my name. It’s the only space in the Nigerian music industry that is just there, everybody is scared to tread on such a path, so I’m daring it.

You came back from Holland recently. What were you doing there?

I went to Holland because of my daughter. She’s about to enter High School and I don’t want her to go to school over there. My husband taught me a lot. He opened my mind to see a lot of things in different ways, so, I said alright foreign education would be very nice for my daughter. I actually sacrificed staying in Nigeria for my daughter.

What really made you start putting those videos online?

To attract attention. I knew it’s going to draw the desired attention to me. So, that’s why I did it and like I said, sex sells and that’s just one of the ways to show it off.

What message are you trying to convey with your nude pictures and videos?

I don’t know if I’m trying to convey any message or I’m just doing my business. I think I’m just entertaining my fans. Sometimes, you add your personal life and culture and stuff like that to it. But for me, its business right now.

Do you make money from it?

Right now, Yes. I have this Australian tour coming up and they have already paid me. I’m not going to tell you how much but imagine going online to buy tickets. So, you know how much already I’ve been paid.

What does sex mean to you?

It’s like food, it’s like shower. I’m trying to say it’s natural, it comes naturally. Your body would request for it. Sometimes my body would request for it like 4 times a day, maybe 5, maybe once but anytime sha, we go do am well

Like how much do you get paid for your sex stuff?

I also do modeling in Holland. If you change the money it would run into millions of naira.

How about guys who want to get down with you and pay you for sex?

I don’t do that. I do Modeling and Entertainment also, strictly business. Some people just want you to be a waiter and they want you to look sexy, that also goes.

Have you ever been approached by someone who is willing to pay to have sex with you?

Yes, a lot of them all over the world. But I turn them down because of my husband.

But your husband won’t know about such game?

My husband is a very nice guy and I think I owe him that, at least. I’ve done a lot that not all guys can really tolerate. I owe him that respect.

Do you believe prostitution should be legalized?

Yes, because I’ve been there. I’ve been with these girls and I know what they are going through and I’ve been to Holland where I think prostitution is legalised. I see the way they handle it. It won’t be bad here because it’s everywhere anyway and they’re not stopping it, so why not just legalise it and let’s just know its happening. I mean it’s everywhere.

Appearance, a little bit rugged and strong presence. Also, character is part of it. He has to have a good heart.

Yes, it’s a must. It’s necessary… If it doesn’t happen, that means I’m travelling or something like that.

Gospel wasn’t really working. Moreover, inside me, I was like I don’t think making money in the name of God is really what I wanted to do. They try to justify it, that it’s okay. You can sing and make money in the name of God but deep inside me, it wasn’t working for me then. So, I said if I wanted to make money, let me just make money without carrying the Bible.

Does your conscience ever prick you?

No. If you look at my neck, I have ‘Grace’ tattooed there. That is what is keeping me going. I believe its grace. Even the pastors sin, so I believe it’s just grace that is sustaining me and allowing me to do what I’m doing today. That’s just what I believe in, and I try not to judge myself and I don’t judge people too.

What’s your view of religion?

For me, if it’s not love, if you don’t speak with love then forget it. I don’t want to be a part of it. It has to be love. If you want to kill me because of religion then I don’t think you have love inside. May be, it’s wrong but that’s my belief and I believe people should respect other people’s beliefs

Has your daughter watched your nude videos?

Yes.

What’s her reaction?

She’s proud of me because the way you train your children here is different from the way children are trained abroad. In abroad, you have people doing soap adverts and they’re completely naked. They just hide what I was hiding also and it’s normal

What if she decides to do what you’re doing?

Right now, she’s under my care. I won’t allow her but when she’s up to 18 and she might say “mommy, I saw what you did and I want to do the same.” I’ll say it’s your choice. People have to make their choices. I mean my mom wasn’t a nudist or whatever, she was a very nice woman but look at me today. I’m not saying I’m not nice but I’m trying to say she didn’t go showing off all her body everywhere. Nobody even knew her but look at me. DANA VULIN: The beautiful faceless woman

28 year-old Dana Vulin is set to remove her protective facial mask which she has worn for over two years, after being set ablaze by a jealous wife for speaking to her husband at a party.

Vulin suffered third-degree burns over two thirds of her body after vicious Natalia Dimitrovska doused her in methylated spirits and set her on fire at her home in February 16, 2012.

Dana told Channel Seven's Sunday Night show.  "I respect the [the mask] and appreciate it. And I also hate its guts. Without I couldn't be where I am at now but essentially I've been faceless and it makes you feel like a nothing and a no one."-Daily Mail reported.

Vulin has undergone agonising reconstructive surgery, more than 30 procedures, and has worn the special compression mask to help heal the terrible burns to her face.

Though Dimitrovska was sentenced to 17 years in jail for the attack, Dana has also revealed she's been diagnosed with cancer.

Court Acquits AIT Journalist Arrested by Mbu

A Chief Magistrate court sitting in Wuse, Abuja, has discharged the Africa Independent Television’s (AIT's) journalist, Amaechi Anakwe who was arrested on Thursday on the order of the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Joseph Mbu.

Mbu had ordered the arrest and detention of Anakwe  on the ground that the journalist described him as controversial police officer and consequently charged to court for defamation of character.

The defence counsel, Mr. John Kalu urged the court to oblige him with a copy of the First Information Report (FIR) to enable him know the offence for which Ameachi was charged, when the matter was called yesterday. Mr. Kalu also urged the court for an order restraining the plaintiff or its privies from further harassing or arresting Anakwe.

However, the prosecution counsel, Chijoke Okezie in an oral application, told the court that the police had withdrawn the charge and asked that the accused person be brought to his office for further clarification, was not opposed by the defence counsel.

In a short ruling delivered by the Chief Magistrate, Anthony Ogboi, the court discharged the accused but the order restricting the police was not granted on the ground that it would impede on the duty of the police.

Indonesian woman gives birth to a gecko

Debi Nubatonis-31 from Indonesia gave birth to a Lizard after an 8-month pregnancy. India Today reports that angry mob threatens and have accused her of practising witchcraft. 

Nubatonis who gave birth in the remote of Oenunto village showed all symptoms of being with child — including going into labour.

LIBERIA: Another Ebola 'Dead' Patient Comes Back to Life

An unnamed 37-year old man assumed dead from the Ebola Virus in the middle of a street in Monrovia-Liberia's capital was discovered to be still alive by funeral workers. Watch the incredible video as recorded by Dr. Richard Besser-ABC News reporter.

The Mirror reports, Dr. Besser, was speaking to the camera and was left astonished by what he saw: "He is not dead." he shouted. "They were wrapping him away but he is alive. He is moving his arm."They almost took him away to the crematorium and they noticed he was moving his arm."

Onlookers gave out their loud cheers when they realise the Ebola victim is not dead.  Finally, an ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital.

Nigeria to teach US medical experts strategy on Ebola containment

The Director of US Center for Disease Control-Tom Frieden has commended Nigeria on her quick, thorough response and utmost display of focused interventions in her Ebola containment. United States is ready to follow the Nigeria's foot steps and has dispatched its personnel to study how Nigeria contained the killer disease.

Frieden said in a statement, “it’s clear the nation needs a quick and thorough response to its first Ebola patient”. Although Nigeria was not completely out of the woods, “their extensive response to a single case of Ebola shows that control is possible with rapid, focused interventions.”-The Citizen reports.

This study shall cover the best practices in Nigeria and Senegal which suggest the U.S. should monitor all individuals who may have been exposed to Ebola and establish a dedicated management and response system-like Nigeria did in the case of Mr. Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian born American citizen whose index case was reported on July 20, 2014.

Nigeria has not reported new cases of Ebola Virus Disease since August 31, while Senegal has had no new reported cases of Ebola since Sept. 18.

EBOLA in United States: 80 persons under strict monitoring

About 80 people, who had either direct or indirect contact with Thomas Eric Duncan-Index Ebola patient are now in strict monitoring for signs of the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease-EVD.

Erikka Neroes-spokeswoman for Dallas County Department of Health and Human Serives told the media on Thursday that the people have been asked to report to Texas Health Officials or US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention if they show symptoms of the virus.

Four family members of Duncan have been issued a legal-binding to stay home and not have any visitors until at least Oct. 19, when the incubation period of the virus should be over.

Authorities are calling for calm as panic set in after officials announced on Wednesday that five students who had close contact with the Ebola patient went to four different schools this week.

A crew of infectious disease experts have been sent to Dallas by U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to help local agencies deal with the case.

NIGERIAN MILITARY insist Boko Haram Leader is dead

The Nigerian military insists that Bashir Mohammed alias Abubakar Shekau was killed during a battle in Konduga on September 17, said the new video purportedly released by “Abubakar Shekau” is nothing but a propaganda. 

The reaction was contained in a short statement posted on defence information blog defenceinfo.mil.ng.

 The reaction of Defence Headquarters titled The Purported Shekau Video in Circulation is as follows:

“The Defence Headquarters is studying the claims made in the video purportedly released by the terrorists showing their leader Abubakar Shekau as dismissing his death.  From immediate observation and what some online news outlets claimed to have seen, the video did not indicate when it was shot neither did it show any proof of life or currency such as screen time or date. The video also did not make any reference to anything that has happened since the impostor’s reported death.

“It is also noteworthy that the air plane said to be mentioned in the video had been missing before he was killed. It should not surprise anybody if the terrorists decide to manipulate pictures, clone another Shekau or upload a pre-recorded video all in a bid to prove invincible.

“As far as we are concerned, the individual who was appearing in video and claiming to be the leader of the terrorist group was killed in the Kondunga battle in September.  The resemblance of the corpse and that of the eccentric character was incontrovertible. His identity was equally corroborated by people who knew him before we announced his death."

Bosnia woman cures all eye problems with saliva
