Let's Talk Love - Emotions - How Can You Tell When A Man Truly Loves A Woman & Vice Versa?

What is LOVE? What is Emotion? How can you tell its real? 

"To LOVE and to be LOVED" is one of the emotional needs of every human. It is also the most difficult to understand. The major part where we all get hurt at one point in time or the other. The need that has ended to be quite unexplainable.

LOVE: A strong feeling of affection. A great interest and pleasure in something.

EMOTION: A strong feeling deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.

Now, take another one long minute and read through the meaning of love and emotion (above) again. What did you notice? Both are STRONG FEELINGS?

Well, you saw rightly, my question is "How can you tell that this(/these) strong feeling(s) is really real? What are those evident fact or character exhibited by partners in a relationship that could make you say, yes, the man loves the woman more, or the woman loves the man more? 

Many people don’t understand that the love you feel in the very beginning is amazing, but it’s not the same as the deep love that only appears after time, and even this deep love continues to deepen and grow and change over the course of a relationship.

I will list some and would like you to give your own run down on the comment page. 

1) They call and send messages often expressing their love

2)  They do interesting things to please each other; he can even cook her favorite meal for cook dinner just to show he cares deeply for her.

3) When a man loves a woman, he will never cheat on her. Never! He will find other women that throw themselves at him repulsive, however beautiful, they might be. That does not mean he has to profess a zillion times in a day how much he loves you. A man who does that is often a player. (Free to have you say on this point - Is it possible?)

ALERT! ALERT! Lagos State Water Corporation's Attention Urgently Needed

A big water pipe at Gbagada, Lagos State has busted and It's causing flood along Soluyi road, General Hospital, Gbagada. The attention of the Lagos state water corporation is being called by the residents of the said area, who not only experiencing heavy trafficking due to very slow vehicle movements to get through the flood But also have to move their goods for those whose shops are affected.

A source told me, the sky rocket water you can see above have been this way since 3pm today, Friday Jan. 30th. Though a beautiful site to behold But also dangerous as the water touches the electric cables above. (More pics after the cut)...

Residents are pleading to Lagos Government to rectify the problem before it gets even much more worse than this....

Identity of a Man, Who jumped off Third Mainland Bridge to His death Revealed

A man, who jumped off the Third Mainland Bridge to his death in the early hours of yesterday, Jan. 29th has been identified as Okechukwu Ezeigbo. Mr. Ezeigbo drowned in the Lagoon after taking a dive from the top of the Bridge on Thursday, in Lagos.

According to reports , Okechukwu is said to hail from The Imo State. He was among several commuters in a commercial bus heading towards Obalende, on the Lagos Island area when the he suddenly asked the driver of the bus to stop, he alighted, took off his shoes and took the deadly dive into the Lagoon before anyone could realise what was going on.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA came to the scene of the incident, sought the help of fishermen in the area and brought the victim out. But he was already dead.

Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident, said that the police had contacted his relatives. Preliminary investigation showed that the victim had mental problem and had been taken to a church located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway,for prayers before he escaped. 

“The relatives said they did not know how he left the place and joined a public transport. The police have recovered the corpse and deposited in a morgue” Nwosu added.

Corpses of Two Students Found in Osun River

Corpses of two students of Ifeolu Secondary School, Osogbo, identified as (Samson Obasanjo, a student of Junior Secondary School 2, while the second boy, who was identified simply as Kabiru, was also in the same class as Obasanjo) were found floating on River Osun by a woman who had gone to fetch water, yesterday, Jan, 29th.

The incident threw the people of Ijetu area of the town into confusion. Though what led to the death of the pupils could not be ascertained at the time of report.

However, according to a resident's narrations to Vanguard the woman, on discovering the corpses, dropped her bucket and ran to the street, where she raised an alarm. 

The case was reported to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and a rescue team from the agency was immediately deployed to the scene. 

Meanwhile, a source revealed to Vanguard that the students had gone missing since Monday and their parents had been looking for them, adding that the parents were said to have broken down in tears on seeing the corpses of their children.

Being a close friend to Pique, Shakira's boyfriend, Leo Messi has got the first scoop of the couple's newly born baby boy's name...He's been named "Sasha." He tweeted it hours before Pique posted the baby's full name (Sasha Pique Mebarak). Messi's explained, "Sasha" is a Russian Baby Name, Meaning "Defender of the People."

Shakira Welcomes Her Second Baby...and it's a Boy!

  

Shakira has welcomed her second son with partner Gerard Pique, 27.

The Colombian "Waka Waka" singer gave birth to her baby boy at Quiron Teknon Hospital in Barcelona, same clinic where she gave birth to first son Milan two years ago.

According to reports, the 37-year-old star had a planned cesarean and welcomed her baby boy last night, Jan, 29th.

His name is yet to be revealed, but the couple are expected to release a statement later today.

How exciting! 2 down, Seven more to go--This is just the beginning if Shakira has her way. In April 2014, Shakira told Latina magazine that she would like to have a huge family with Gerard.

“I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — My own [soccer] team,” she told the magazine, according to Us Weekly.

Friends and family have been pouring out their congratulations on twitter the the couple. Even footballer Lionel Messi was among the first to congratulate the couple, as he wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations @shakira and @3gerardpique on the birth of your son.."

AIT Shuts Down Online Presidential Poll over Massive Rigging (Releases Official Statement)

Daar Communications, owners of African Independent Television, AIT, has alleged massive fraud by agents of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in its online Presidential Poll.

A statement signed by the Management of Daar Communication said it shut down www.aitonline.tv website which hosted the poll because unique IP addresses were significantly less than the numbers of votes polled.

The statement titled: Massive Rigging Exposed On AIT Online Presidential

However, the shut down led to an online outrage  on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, and a lot of backlash by party supporters who called them out for being biased. (Read AIT statement below...)

'Dad made me his dutiful wife aged 6 - then performed a home abortion after he raped me'

  

Brave Judy van Niekerk (pictured above-left and right with her father Noah Walsh as a child) has broken her silence to tell of years of horrific abuse at her father's hands - and why she still went to visit him on his death bed in the hospital.....read on....

A woman has told how her father made her his “dutiful wife” when she was six – and when she fell pregnant performed a home abortion on her.

Judy van Niekerk, 46, of London, cooked and cleaned for her father Noah Walsh after her mother left.

He even raped her and shot her in the chest.

Judy was made to care for her siblings, all the while being abused by her father

He was jailed for 15 years at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin after she approached the police and told them about what happened.

In court Walsh said: “We [me and Judy] lived as husband and wife.”

Despite this, Mrs van Niekerk went to visit her father as he was dying – and told him she loved him and forgave him.

She said the bullying started when she was young.

She said “Most people have happy childhood memories.

“Mine include my dad teaching me to swim and taking me for picnics. But I have a lot of bad ones memories too.

“When I was six and my dad taught me to box. I was only little but he expected me to fight him, even though it hurt me.

“He was mean to my mum and called her useless and lazy and hit her.”

When she was six her mother left, returning but leaving again when she was ten.

“Each time she left he treated me like his dutiful wife,”

Mrs van Niekerk said: “I should have been going to school. But he didn’t let me. He said, ‘you have too much to do here.’

“I had to stay home and look after my five kid siblings. I had to get up early to make breakfast for everyone, and pack their lunchboxes.

“I was made to wash our clothes by hand, as we didn’t have a machine."

Those who live in glass house should not throw stones - Tompolo to Gen. Danjuma (rtd)

Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) has reacted to Gen. T. Y. Danjma's call for his arrest along with Asari-Dokubo and others for making provocative and inciting statements, ahead of next month general elections,  yesterday, Jan, 29th in a press statement made available by his media aide, Paul Bebenimibo.

Tompolo accused General Danjuma of being selective in his judgment, as he noted that certain Nigerians, particularly of Northern extraction have made similar provocative statements and were never castigated by the former Army chief.

The statement reads in part:

“The call by Gen. T.Y Danjuma (Rtd) to arrest me and other agitators for a better living for the people of the Niger Delta region is an indication that he is behind terrorism in the North eastern part of the country as well as the stoning of President Jonathan’s convey in Kastina and Bauchi states, because he has never condemned those acts, even though Boko Haram attacked churches and mosques in his home town.

“Is Gen. Danjuma not aware of the peaceful atmosphere when General Buhari visited Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa (Home state of the President) states for campaign? Why is it that President Jonathan’s convoy was attacked in Kastina and Bauchi states without any provocation?

Who is Gen. Danjuma if not for the oil wealth he is enjoying from the Niger Delta? I believe, there is something wrong with Gen. Danjuma.

He should be rather arrested for being behind terrorism in the North.

“Where was Danjuma when Mallam Ciroma Adamu threatened to make Nigeria ungovernable, if president Jonathan defeated the All Progressive Congress Presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammedu Buhari?”

Where was this so called statesman when the APC campaign Director General (DG), Mr. Rotimi Ameachi threatened to form a parallel government if President Jonathan wins the 2015 elections? Where was this hypocrite when Dr. Junaid Muhammed, Muhammadu Buhari and Atiku Abubakar all said in separate interviews that the nation will boil if Jonathan won the election in 2011?

Girl Falls to her Death after Boyfriend Proposed to Her on top of a Cliff

A holidaymaker died in Ibiza after falling over a cliff as she celebrated a marriage proposal from her boyfriend. 

Police say she lost her balance as she jumped up and down in excitement after her partner asked for her hand in marriage. 

The pair, from Bulgaria, were at a beauty spot famed for its sunset views. Dimitrina Dimitrova, 29, suffered a heart attack brought on by injuries caused by the 65ft fall in the tiny resort of Cala Tarida on Ibiza's west coast. She was alive but unconscious when paramedics arrived but died at the scene minutes later. 

The incident happened around lunchtime on Tuesday. A local Civil Guard spokesman said: 'Everything is pointing towards the death being the result of a tragic freak accident.' 

A source added: 'Her boyfriend lived and worked on Ibiza. She had arrived two days earlier to visit him and look for work. 'She fell seconds after her partner surprised her by proposing to her as she jumped up and down with emotion.' 

It is believed the dead woman's devastated waiter boyfriend had singled out the beauty spot to make his marriage proposal. 

Last August a Polish couple fell to their deaths while taking a selfie at a cliff's edge in the popular tourist spot Cabo da Roca, Portugal. Their children, aged five and six, witnessed the accident and were taken into care before returning to their homeland to live with relatives. 

Malaysia officially declares MH370 passengers and crew 'presumed dead'

After a long unfruitful search for the missing MH370 Malaysia Airlines flight along with the 239 people on-board since March 8, 2014, the government of Malaysia has officially declared all of its passengers and crew presumed dead. As well as the loss of the Malaysia Airlines flight 370 an accident. Though the search for the missing Boeing 777 will continue.

The civil aviation director Azharuddin Abdul Rahman made the formal declaration today, Thursday, Jan. 29th in order to allow the families of those presumed dead to go on with all compensation process with the airline or with insurers.

For anyone who has not read Professor Charles Soludo’s article on January 25 2015, I would encourage them to do so. It is littered with abusive and unbecoming language. It shows how an embittered loser in the Nigerian political space can get so derailed that they commit intellectual harakiri by deliberately misquoting economic facts and maliciously turning statistics on their head to justify a hatchet job. We hope all the intellectuals in the international circles in which Professor Soludo has told us he flies around in will read what a Professor of Economics has chosen to do with his intellect.

In this one article Soludo has shamelessly pandered to so many past leaders that Nigerians are asking one more time – what position is Soludo gunning for now? He claims in his article that he has had his own share of public service, yet he has failed twice in his attempts to be Governor of Anambra State and Vice Presidential candidate of various parties. There is definitely an issue of character with Prof. Charles Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal.

Mum Slashes Throats Of Her 3 Crying Children with Kitchen Knife to Keep Them Quiet

A woman, who is an Army wife was arrested for slashing the throats of her two-year-old daughter and six-month-old twins said she tried to kill her crying babies so they wouldn’t disturb her husband, who she said 'gets very annoyed' whenever they make noise.   

According to Daily Mail Christina Booth, 29, said she hit ‘breaking point’ when she put her children to bed and all three began crying at her home in Olympia, Washington.

And Mrs Booth, who suffers from postpartum depression, told police that she went downstairs and grabbed a kitchen knife before slashing their throats because her husband, Army Staff Sergeant Thomas Booth, got ‘very annoyed when the children cry’ and if she killed the children ‘the house would be quiet for Thomas’.

Arrest Tompolo, Asari, others now - Gen T.Y Danjuma

Former Minister of Defence Gen T.Y Danjuma has requested that Pres. Jonathan should order the immediate arrest of Asari Dokubo, Government Tompolo and other Niger Delta ex-militants who declared that they would destabilise the country if the president does not win next month's presidential election.

Speaking in an interview at the North West University, Kano shortly after commissioning the Kwankwasiyya City built by the Kano state government yesterday, January 28th Danjuma said the militants must be punished for making such unguarded utterances which could throw the nation into chaos.

"The statements were very reckless coming from irresponsible individuals and they should be condemned, in fact they should be arrested" he said. 

5 family members die of 'drugs overdose' to escape 'apocalypse''

A couple and three of their children were found dead at home after taking a cocktail of drugs in a tragic 'murder-suicide' - to escape "the evil in the world".

Benjamin and Kristi Strack and three of their children, Benson, 14, Emery, 12, and Zion, 11, were found dead in Springville, Utah on September 27 2014. 

On Tuesday police said they often discussed religiously-held notions of the apocalypse &orchestrated a multi-drug suicide using methadone and other medication.

I need to preface this article with a few clarifications. I have taken a long sabbatical leave from partisan politics, and it is real fun watching the drama from the balcony.  Having had my own share of public service (I do not need a job from government), I now devote my time and energy in pursuit of other passions, especially abroad. A few days ago, I read an article in Thisday entitled “Where is Charles Soludo?”, and my answer is that I am still there, only that I have been too busy with extensive international travels to participate in or comment on our national politics and economy.

But I occasionally follow events at home. Since the survival and prosperity of Nigeria are at stake, the least some of us (albeit, non-partisan) must do is to engage in public debate. As the elections approach, I owe a duty to share some of my concerns.

40-year-old Yasmin Eleby Marries Herself - She's not the first, looks like its a becoming a trend these days

 

Yasmin Eleby-40, has married herself in a dream wedding complete with a fabulous candlelit ceremony and heartfelt vows to forgive, honor and love herself.

Ex-Super Eagles Keeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare, dies of cancer

The former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has died. Wilfred finally lost his battle against cancer today, Tuesday Jan. 27th at a Spanish hospital were he was receiving treatment.

48-year-old Agbonavbare, is said was initially treated in Florida, United States, before he was transferred to the Prince of Asturias Hospital in Alcalá de Henares. 

It's heart breaking to know that Agbonavbare’s three children are now orphans as his wife died of breast cancer three years ago after gulping all their earnings.
