Healthy Chinese Man Refuses to Leave His Hospital Bed For Three Years (Unusual China)

LOL...This is very hilarious. First, I don't love going to the hospital nor spend a single day of my life there; you know it kinda creeps me out. What could possibly make this man wanna stay in hospital for the rest of his life?

A 55-year-old Chinese man has stubbornly refused to leave the hospital for three whole years, Note: HE IS HEALTHY!

Here's his story...Mr. Chen (pictured above being moved forcibly by the police out of the hospital) was admitted to Beijing Jingmei Group Hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries he had sustained during an accident back in August 2011. Chen was discharged after a month only for him to return a couple of months later complaining of leg pains.

However, he was diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis, which doctors treated him for three months before sending him home again. This is where it gets even more interesting---this time, Mr. Chen flatly refused to leave, complaining that his legs ached so much that he just couldn’t straighten them; that it was the hospital’s responsibility to care for him, so he layed tight on his bed, even missing his son’s wedding! couldn't make him to go home. “I have never taken a shower or left the hospital in the past three years. I even missed my son’s wedding,” he said, crying. Mr. Chen was soon unable to pay his medical bills, so the hospital stopped treating him in July 2012.

The National Assembly has approved a Life Pension for anybody who has been President or Vice President, Senate President or Deputy Senate President, Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives; following the amendment of the 1999 Constitution, as presented to the floor of the Senate by the Chairman, Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, for transmission to the president for approval.

Man sets wife ablaze in Imo State

 

The people of Umuna community in Orlu Local Council Area of Imo State were thrown into shock in the early hours of yesterday when  a middle aged  man identified as Uche allegedly set his wife, Ugochi Uche ablaze before handing himself over to the police.

According to reports, It was gathered that Uche, a 45-year-old man  had  allegedly doused his wife, who was said to be sleeping with fuel and set her ablaze. And Before the ugly incident, it was learnt that the man had accused  the wife of infidelity, which had resulted in a serious quarrel between the couple three days earlier. 

According to a family source, “the woman was sleeping when her husband set her ablaze after pouring fuel on her. 

However, trouble broke out  at the couple’s hometown in Umuahiami Afara, Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state yesterday when the in-laws from Ekwe Autonomous community in Isu Njaba Local Government Area  stormed the sleepy Afara village on revenge mission destroying their son in-law’s house and property worth millions of naira.

World Bank Denies Plot To Privatise Water With Lagos State Government

Lagos State Water corporation staff and civil society activists have got a sigh of relief as World Bank released statement to counter its involvement in negotiation with Lagos State Govt to privatize the water supply in in the state.

 

According to reports, before the bank’s decision, activists and civil servants had mounted pressure on the water company against such a move, which they said would raise the cost of having access to water beyond the reach of ordinary Lagosians. The Corporation’s staff, who stood to lose their jobs, went a step further to threaten to do “everything to frustrate” the move.

In a press statement released by the World Bank last month, announcing a breakdown in talks between its International Finance Corporation and the Lagos Water Corporation. Statement read in part...

“Contrary to recent reports, IFC has not signed any agreement with the Lagos Water Corporation (LWC). LWC expressed interest in working with IFC and we had a number of discussions on how we might be able to assist the company. In the end, IFC decided not to advise LWC. We continue to support the government and people of Nigeria in achieving their development goals.”

Only Woman On Georgia's Death Row Makes HUGE Last Meal Request Before She Finally Dies

 

The only female inmate on death row in Georgia has submitted a lengthy list for her last meal ahead of her execution later this month by lethal injection on February 25.

46-year-old Kelly Renee Gissendaner (pictured above), will become the first woman to be executed in seven decades. However, she wants it to be a mega last meal as has requested a "meal of cornbread with a side of buttermilk; two Burger King Whoppers with cheese; two large orders of fries; cherry vanilla ice cream; popcorn; a salad with boiled eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, carrots, cheese and Newman's Own buttermilk dressing; and lemonade."

GISSENDANER'S LAST MENU 

• Cornbread with a side of buttermilk
• Two Burger King Whoppers with cheese
• Two large orders of fries
• Cherry vanilla ice cream
• Popcorn
• Salad with boiled eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, carrots, cheese and Newman's Own buttermilk dressing
• Lemonade

According to Daily Mail report, The feast will be consumed in the hours leading up to her execution at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson.

A rough estimate shows that the food contains more than 4,200 calories. 

Gissendaner was convicted of killing her husband in February 1997. She was sentenced to death in November 1998 after she was found guilty for persuading her boyfriend to kill her husband, Douglas Gissendaner. 

Gissendaner, who is incarcerated at Arrendale State Prison, is the only woman of 84 inmates facing the death penalty in the state, figures showed from a report by Georgia's Department of Corrections last year. She is set to be the 14th woman executed in Georgia since 1735, AJC reports

For his Fall 2015 collection, Telfar continued to play with this notion of gender. The women wore full looks that looked like designer versions of the Orange is the New Black correctional facility garb, meanwhile the men appeared in these light, sweet, fluffy sweater dresses that looked both tough and sensual.  Telfar is not designing for the masses; he’s creating collections that his friends will want to wear.

EFCC Arraigns Lawyer For N117m Fraud

A legal practitioner, Barrister Babatunde Ojo, was on Monday, February 16, 2015 arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, on a 48-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence, forgery and issuance of dud cheques. Ojo allegedly used his company, Amberville Communications Limited, to obtain the sum of N117, 350, 000.00 (One Hundred and Seventeen Million, Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) from Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Awodiya of First Hebron Homes and Investment Limited in the guise of allocating 50 shops at HFP Eastline Shopping Complex, Ajah, Lagos, to them.

The victim was allegedly linked to Ojo by one of the directors of the Shopping Complex. He was told that, the amount per shop was N4, 000,000 (Four Million Naira only) , with Fifty (50) shops, costing N200, 000,000 (Two Hundred Million Naira only). The victim negotiated for 50 shops but paid a deposit of N117, 350, 000.00 (One Hundred and Seventeen Million, Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira). However, the director that linked the victim with Ojo later denied knowledge of any transaction for sale of shops with the suspect, and invariably debunked claims of having received payment from the suspect.

The reality TV dad’s cousin Sandra Day Kelley, 64, tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that she feels “sorry” for him and said Bruce would be an ugly woman.

Georgia resident Kelley explains. “He’s confused. I don’t believe in people changing sex. I think you’re born what you are. I think he’s going to be ugly as a woman. He’s a man!. I wish he wouldn’t do it."

 Despite the sex change, Day claims she will love and support him through the difficult process.
