LOL! Captain Jack Sparrow runs for office in US Midterm Election

Many politicians with hilarious names like--Lady Garden, who was appointed a Government Whip by Nick Clegg in today's Lib Dem mini-reshuffle, Mark Reckless--Strood MP, who recently hit the headlines by crossing the floor - defecting from the Conservative party to UKIP and Judge Lawless, who is Chief Judge of the 30th Circuit Court in Ingham County, Michigan--would make you wanna change your own name and run for an office.

However, you must be very familiar with the "Pirates of the Caribbean" main character Captain Jack Sparrow played by Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, surprisingly enough he isn't the Minnesota candidate in the United States's Midterm Election.
Rather, the real Captain Sparrow is running for political office for County Commission in Hennepin. As reported in Sparrow's website, he officially changed his name as part of his involvement with the Occupy movement in 2013, when ran for mayor of Minneapolis on a platform that upholds the movement. Captain Jack, who's birth name is unknown wants to be taken seriously, local political commentator Naomi Kritzer said--"I am pretty sure that Jack wants you to take him seriously."
