This is a stunning new photographs captured by 34-year-old Indonesian photographer Yudy Sauw, which shows a unique love ritual performed by brown praying mantises. Sauw took the pic near his home in Tangerang located in the Province of Banten, Indonesia - appearing to hold a white flower out for his lover.
Unlike in the human empire, mating works a little differently in the animal kingdom.
A male praying mantis pictured presenting his would-be lover with a flower... before she literally rips his head off. Lol..relax dear, the photographer however, confessed that the flower was added after the pictures were taken for 'romantic effect.' (View more photos after the cut...)
