Nigeria has taken the first position, leading with 66% as the country with the highest penetration of dual SIM devices in the world.
According to a study carried out by Open Signal, a crowd sourced cell phone signal start-up put the number of dual sim phone users at in Nigeria to 66% prevalence. This shows that three out of every five mobile phones in Nigeria, will most likely be a Dual SIM phone.Senegal hits the bottom of the ladder with 40%, while Bangladesh and Tanzania came 2nd and 3rd respectively with above 61% and 51% each. However, South Korea has the lowest prevalence at 0.40 percent. Open Signal put forth this fact in its most recent report, after putting up data generated from over a million Open Signal downloads.
