Would you drink BLK? The Black Spring Water

The black coloured water known as the perfect innovation of nature and science is said to be better than the plain regular water is the invention of two sisters--Jacqueline and Louise Wilkie
According to the BLK's official website, “BLK is powerful electrolytes and a high pH. BLK is serious hydration. BLK is a delicious beverage without any sugar, carbs, or calories. BLK is here and it will defy expectations.”

Well, BLK is essentially Canadian spring water infused with fulvic acid, that is a natural nutrient-rich compound. The Black colour of the water is the aftermath reaction of fulvic acid with water giving it a catchy and scary colour.

The product is being promoted by Albie and Chris Manzo, sons of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo. To Albie: “The color is what gets people listening in the first place."

Jacqueline and Louise Wilkie developed the brew in 2008, when their mother was suffering from terminal bone cancer and was told that she had only a year to live. They gave their mother fulvic acid concentrate, which eventually worked and saved her life. That’s how they got the idea for a water-based drink.
Fulvic acid which is said to have a ‘miracle molecule’ in recent times for its detoxifying properties due to its ability to bind to metals. Critics have long pointed out that there is no conclusive evidence to prove fulvic acid does anything to benefit your health. Even doctors and scientists have not supported this claim and lots of people think it’s just a marketing gimmick.
