Jackie Chan's son Jaycee sentenced to 6 months in prison for drug offense
Hong Kong actor Jaycee Chan was sentenced to six months in jail and fined 2,000 yuan on Friday, Jan. 9th for accommodating drug users following his arrest in Beijing last August.
Thirty-two-year-old son of legendary Kung fu movie master Jackie Chan along with 23-year-old along with Taiwan-based actor Kai Ko, were arrested on August 14 in young Chan's home in Beijing, where cops siezed up around 100 grams of weed. See more pics after the cut....

Do you know that Mirror-Trained Monkeys Like Looking at Themselves?
A new study has revealed that humans aren't the only animals that love to admire themselves in a mirror. The study says that monkeys have also figured out what the mirror is used for just with a little
training.
The study, published in the journal Current Biology, proves
that animals can be taught how to use a mirror because the skill required is only tied to self-recognition—and they(monkeys) understand that
the reflections are of themselves.
“Our findings suggest that the monkey brain has the basic ‘hardware’ [for mirror self-recognition], but they need appropriate training to acquire the ‘software’ to achieve self-recognition,” lead author Neng Gong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences said in a press release.

10 year old suicide bomber blows self up at Maiduguri market
According to a Military source that confirmed the explosion which is said to have happen at Maiduguri market around 12:30pm today, Jan, 10th; a 10-year-old female suicide bomber blew herself beyond recognition killing
at least 10 and injuring others at the popular Maiduguri poultry market in Borno
state. The child suicide bomber is said to have been strapped with explosives that were so heavy which flung
her body 500m away from the scene after she exploded.
"Her body was completely shattered,” he said. “Because of the high calibre explosive she strapped to her body, the upper part of her body was flung apart and found about 500 metres away" he said

I also do ignore most of the Facebook’s friend suggestions and I know a whole lot of people do same. But a 24-year-old Belgian student traveled all the way to Austin, Texas to meet up with a stranger because the social network’s algorithm suggested they become friends.
Victor Van Rossem said he was intrigued when Facebook displayed 49-year-old Neal as a ‘suggested friend’, and he decided to make it happen for real.
“Facebook suggested we become friends, and I thought that was pretty absurd. I became fascinated by him. He had a long beard and looked a little unusual. He did art performances and paintings of mythical creatures and strange beasts which only made me more interested in him. Brand expert Kenny Badmus who took to his Facebook page to reveal he was HIV positive on Dec. 1st, this morning took used same media to reveal that he is GAY; how he got married and led a false life just to satisfy society and how he told his ex-wife before they got married that he's gay and how she didn't care hoping he would, with time, stop being gay.

1. Onikan/TBS is a no go area. The streets have been blocked, commercial vehicles are not allowed beyond the roundabout (coming from Awolowo Road & Military Street). For now private vehicles are allowed to go through the roundabout into City Mall - TBS - Kakawa office - General Hospital and beyond.
2 Gunmen, who storm French magazine office where 12 staff died, identified

Jack, 31, and his wife Lydia, 23, said that they decided early-on in their relationship that they wanted to continue the whiskey-name tradition that Jack’s parents had started.
“My parents decided they wanted to name their son something to make their parents mad,” Jack explained. “And, at the time, my dad was drinking Jack, which he enjoyed. My mom said, ‘Why not?’”
