According to a Military source that confirmed the explosion which is said to have happen at Maiduguri market around 12:30pm today, Jan, 10th; a 10-year-old female suicide bomber blew herself beyond recognition killing
at least 10 and injuring others at the popular Maiduguri poultry market in Borno
state. The child suicide bomber is said to have been strapped with explosives that were so heavy which flung
her body 500m away from the scene after she exploded.
"Her body was completely shattered,” he said. “Because of the high calibre explosive she strapped to her body, the upper part of her body was flung apart and found about 500 metres away" he said
