A fresh bomb explosion has hit Senior Science Secondary School Potiskum in Yobe State, in the early hours of morning today, killing many students and leaving several others injured, as the dreaded Boko Haram Sect unleashes their terror, barely a week after a suicide bomber attacked and killed scores of Islamic faithful on procession in Potiskum.
According to reports, the bomber disguised as a student of the school entered the assembly hall with the students and triggered the explosive devices which left many students dead.
Witnesses reportedly said that the explosion rocked the school around 7:45 when the students were in for the first assembly of the week.
The Yobe State Commissioner of Police, Markus Danladi, confirmed the bomb blast and said more details on the incident would be made public soon.
