Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun escaped unhurt when his convoy was involved in an accident along Saapade-Ogeere Road on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, yesterday.
The accident which occurred at about 9:30 a.m, involved a commercial bus driver, who reportedly lost control and rammed into the
governor’s convoy, damaging one of the Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
However, it was gathered that two of the Governor's aides sustained injuries along some occupants of another vehicle-a blue Mitsubishi bus, laden with foodstuffs. The accident is said to have occurred at a spot where construction work was ongoing which forced motorists to use two of the four-lane road.
