"Well I had someone who I was engaged to in 2012. We were not legally married. We were supposed to marry last year but all of a sudden, something happened and the wedding couldn't happen. He is such a great guy that every woman would pray to have. Things just didn't work out because you as a guy, you want to get married to a lady and you just found out that the 2 of you share the same genotype in this modern day? I am not saying that is the exact thing that happened to us but something similar and because of that we let go. We did engagement and people knew about it so how do you expect me to tell them now that the relationship crashed? I don't want such stories and that was why I kept it to myself. Whatever that is not yours, you just have to let go"

"She obviously loves the limelight; she enjoys being called and seen as a celebrity, and she loves the good life of being a star, which sincerely is not a crime and it is equally her business anyway. For meas a journalist, if I am to pick any of the known on-air personalities to interview then Toke Makinwa will never make number 50 on my list because I don’t know what she wants to tell the world about her career and personal life again.
Fellow citizens of our country, gentlemen of the Press, ladies and gentlemen:
At this crucial juncture in the history of our nation, I bring to you a word in season which, in time to come, may turn out to have been a final warning regarding the imminent storms threatening to hit our nation. At the same time, this is a word of hope; the assurance that despite the looming chaos, Nigeria in the hands of God is going to be the biggest miracle of the century.
First, I must reiterate in unequivocal terms that my position in the unfolding political situation of our nation is that of a nation-builder and not a politician, and that my desire is to see a nation that works in my lifetime. On the 16th of November, 2014, as I stood on this platform to share with you “The Nigeria of My Dreams”, I laid it bare to all and sundry why I would rather incline my ears to the melodies within my reins as to the beat of a distant drum. Although the position I stand here today to declare may appear as controversial to many, I do not go about seeking controversies. It is the Lord who has a controversy with the nations, with the inhabitants of the land, and with His people, because their counsel is contrary to His, according to Jeremiah 25:31 (NKJV):

“Don’t start in a group. If you know you have it, go all out for yourself. Even if the person is your brother, it’s good to differentiate yourselves. If you have to do it, do it yourself because you get to take your own decisions and keep growing from there,” he said.

About two weeks after Nigeria’s secret police, the State Security Service [SSS], cleared a former Governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, of any link to the extremist Boko Haram sect, PREMIUM TIMES has obtained a video suggesting that President Goodluck Jonathan is personally aware and strongly convinced of the former’s governor’s longstanding relationship with the founder of the sect.
In the video clip, shot in April 2013 during a visit he made to Borno state, Mr. Jonathan was heard describing Mr. Sheriff, who was then a member of the opposition All Progressives Congress [APC] as a “friend” of Mohammed Yusuf, the man who founded and led Boko Haram for years.
