Today on Spicy Board: True Love Does Exist--Man Who Still Eats Out with His Late Wife five years after her death

This is a heartwarming story to read, which would reassure all heartbroken lovers and all those who have lost faith in love, that true love surely still exist. 

The picture above is an elderly man eating out with a photo of his late wife who died five years ago at In-N-Out Burger in Fremont, California. This photo has been retweeted over 8,000 times since Madina Bashizadah captured the amazing moment and tweeted it.

According to Madina, she noticed the man seated at a nearby table, eating his meal while staring at a framed photograph of a woman in front of him; which she interpreted  must be his deceased wife. This moved her into tears and she couldn’t bring herself to approach him.

• “When I saw him, I got very emotional and started tearing up,” she later said. “My best friend wanted me to talk to him but I couldn’t without breaking down.” Other diners at the restaurant, however, did pluck up the courage to speak to the old man and ask him about the photo. He confirmed that the woman was indeed his wife who had passed away five years ago, and he seemed excited to talk about her and share their beautiful love story .

As the old man told the story of their endless love to all concerned people around him. He first met his wife when they were only 17 years old. But was separated for 10 years by war, but he never stopped searching for her. One day as he was telling his barber about her, the barber calls his daughter and it ended up being her. They were married instantly and it lasted 55 years before she passed away. Till date, he takes her photo everywhere.

• “I didn’t think anything like that would ever happen. So when I saw this, it was such a beautiful moment I was like ‘aw, I’m gonna tweet this’. Not to be cheesy, but it made me want that kinda love. Goes to show you true love does exist and I would love for everyone to know!” Madina added.

Especially strangers. You may think that you will brighten their day, but you may be surprised that they can actually brighten yours.”

Government declares curfew in Adamawa state

Following the recent attack and killings by the Boko Haram Sect in Mubi-Adamawa State (read here), the  State government yesterday declared curfew in every part of the state to checkmate the increase in insurgency activities in some parts of the state.
According to a statement released on Nov. 1st, , the curfew is from 5am to 9pm in every part of the state, and every resident has been advised to comply strictly with the directive.

According to allegedly released video by Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau on Friday, October 31st, Shekau said that all the abducted Chibok girls have converted to Islam and have all been married off. He also stated that there was never a ceasefire agreement with the Nigerian Govt and their goal is the Garden of Eternal Bliss.

“You shamelessly declared in your radio and newspapers that you were fighting those determined to establish an Islamic state.
“Because of that constitution that barred us from preaching in Maiduguri, we moved out and migrated as Allah ordained (quoting from the Koran).
“Have you forgotten that? And it is you today claiming we made truce with you? In what way did we make truce? Which kind of negotiation, with whom? That your Danladi, the infidel like you, who we will not spare and will decapitate if he falls into our hands today?
“Where do we know him, not to talk of him representing us? Who is Danladi on this earth?
“Allah knows everything. Allah is witness (quoting from the Koran).
“Therefore I tell you (that) we have not made ceasefire with anyone. Only battle, hitting, striking and killing with gun which we long for like tasty meal. This what we believe in and fight for.

“It is said Chadian President, Nigerian ambassador, the people of Cameroon and us met and agreed on a truce. How? Don’t you know we are still holding your German hostage, always crying. If we wish we hack him or slaughter him or shoot him. We fear no one but Allah. This is our job.
“When did we release Chibok schoolgirls that we seized, those that Shekau who is now talking, seized, brought them and kept them in the place he chose for more than six months now.
“Allah has proved too difficult for the infidel, Allah has proved too difficult for the tyrant, Allah has proved too difficult for the United States, Allah has proved too difficult for a plane called drone, bastard. Allah has proved too difficult for everyone. Allah is mightier than everyone.
“Surprisingly, if the women of Chibok, I mean the mothers of the Chibok schoolgirls and their fathers, if you know the condition your daughters are in today it could lead some to convert to Islam and some to die from grief.
“Don’t you know the over 200 Chibok schoolgirls have converted to Islam? They have now memorised two chapters of the Koran. They have seen themselves in the Books of Luke and John that Christians have corrupted the Bible. Girls from Chibok confessing Islam is the true religion! A six-grader, liars.

Kim K. says Kylie's pouty new lips is just [M.A.C.'s] Soar and Spice lip liner not from a surgical injetions

The Kardashian clan's obsession continues.
Speaking to makeup artists Sam and Nicola Chapman of the YouTube makeup channel Pixiwoo, Kim Kardashian gushed about how good Kylie is with makeup and revealed that her 17-year old baby sister's recent pouty lips (read here) that has raised so much concern amongst critics and fans isn't from a surgical injections but from [M.A.C.'s] Soar and Spice lip liner.

• "She's so good. She's so good at makeup," Kardashian said. "Every event, she only does it herself. I go into her room, and I'm like, 'What liner do you wear?' because she only wears a lip liner, and then she fills it in [with the same liner], She doesn't wear lipstick or a gloss. WAHALA! Chinese Landlord bugs female tentants bathroom and bedroom with pinhole camera to spy on them

 

A male landlord from Haidian, district of Beijing-China has been arrested and detained for allegedly bugging his female tenants' bathroom with a one-way mirror and bedroom with pinhole camera so he could spy on them.

According to reports, the landlord has posted rental advertisements stating he wants "Only single young women."

Following investigations after one of the female tenants unexpectedly discovered their nude photographs in the landlord's cell phone and reported to the police; it was discovered that a hole has been drilled into the wall behind a two-meter mirror inside the tenants bathroom, which allows someone from the other end and outside to see what is inside the bathroom. The peeping-tom-landlord also installed a pinhole camera in a loudspeaker that is in the girls bedroom.

"Someone outside the bathroom can also see what is going on in the bathroom due to the one-way mirror". the girls claimed."

First Nigeria student race car designed by Nnamdi Azikiwe University students

A formula student race car have been designed by five final year students of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka as a part of their compulsory graduating (passing out) project. 

The Project took (students all pictured above)-- Okoyenta Augustus,Okeke Chukwuebuka, Ezeani Chikeluba‎, Ofoegbu Kenechukwu, and Igbokwe Ebenezer about 18months to complete under the supervision of Dr. S. C. Nwigbo has been exhibited in the presence of the School Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ahaneku and other dignitaries. 

Amist severe condition in regards to power supply, poor machinery and keeping up with school grades-lectures, these "Jimmy Newtrons" never baked down and have set an incredible record.

The iconic "Father Christmas" from Coca-cola advert--John Moore is dead at 86. John who inspired the known Coca-cola Santa Claus character would be buried today in Burgess Hill, Sussex, United Kingdom.

• "We are saddened to hear of the passing of John and our thoughts are with his family and the community.He really did bring to life the true spirit of the iconic Coca-Cola Santa Claus" Coca-cola spokeswoman said.

When he was not shooting for Coca-Cola, or featuring on other multiple TV adverts, John spent the rest of the year working as a taxi driver and barman.

Surgery-obsessed twins spend £15,000 to look like dolls

Swedish identical twins Emma and Sara Koponen have recently spent about £15,000 in their pursuit for perfection through identical surgeries to look like dolls.

The two surgery freak-sisters have had three boobs jobs each and regular lips filler injections. Both go through hours of grueling gym exercises to keep their bodies in same shapes and eat same food.

• Sara revealed: “We are obsessed with surgery and the pursuit of perfection - for us there’s no such thing as too much. As twins we have to look the same, people expect have expected that from us since we were children. We are both addicted with modifying our bodies - but we have to make sure we both do the same things otherwise we won’t match."

Though the pair feel great about their new found surgery curves, many people find their appearance repulsive including their dad.Emma said: “Our father is not proud of us at all - he hates our big boobs and our tattoos. Not everyone likes the look we are going for - our dad and our grandmother really don’t like it. Some girls have called us names like ‘whore’ to our faces, but I think they are just jealous of the attention we get."

The twins who are looking forward to having more surgeries-butt implants, dental veneers and rhinoplasty are now in Marbella, Spain in pursuit of their artificial perfection, which is their ultimate life goal.

• “We have lots of plans for future surgery - our goal is to look as artificial as a doll by the time we are finished. It’s very important for us to make our dreams come true and we have many things we want to do with our body to change it." Sara added.

Governor Fayose reveals he goes to beer parlour every Friday

Speaking to newsmen today in Abuja on the "stomach infrasturcture" initiative, Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state revealed that he goes to the beer parlour every Friday to meet with the commoners in his state. What he explained as part and parcel of the initiative aside from distribution of money and food to people.

"I go to beer parlour on Friday to stay with the common men there. Governance is not church;  it is about diverse characters and you must relate with them as such. Christmas is coming. Why do people go out of their ways to be shopping or doing other things if it is not just to make people merry? So, I’m grooming chicken, buying rice, yams, plantain, and the rest of them. I am sure if I give it to families during the festive period, they will be happy. So, stomach infrastructure is a way of life.” he said

Atiku Abukakar: Some of the people killed by Boko Haram in Mubi are those I knew personally

 

Despite the ceasefire arrangement between the Federal Government and Boko Haram, the brutal killing activities by the sect has known no end. 

The former Vice President, Atiku Abubarkar took to facebook to affirm the recent attack on Mubi Village in Adamawa by the Boko Haram, saying some of the people who were killed were those whom he knew personally.

Thumbs up girl: 'My boyfriend said I was too fat for sex so I dropped 13 stone - and HIM'

22 year old Paige Way dropped from a whopping size 28 to a size 12 all to prove boyfriend wrong, who said her belly was too fat for them to have sex. The cruel comment made by her boyfriend during a romantic getaway got Paige to complete total transformation-weight-wise. 

"It was absolutely mortifying when my boyfriend told me that my belly was getting in the way, but it gave me the push I needed to finally do something about my weight. I'd always been big as a child, and then I was 'the fat one' in my bunch of friends. Men would say horrible things about me on nights out, like "God, look at the size of her. I had no confidence whatsoever, but I tried to kid myself that I was happy being fat. Even when I broke a sun lounger at a family barbeque by sitting on it, I just laughed it off. However, when my boyfriend made that comment, I knew I couldn't kid myself any longer."

Paige, worked on her weight for eight good months, exercising and eating small portions of healthy food is single again because she dumped the man that felt she wasn't good enough. One more thing, her belle wouldn't be a hindrance anymore.

"Every time I think back to the night at the hotel, it makes me cringe. But it made me make a change. Now I'm happier than I've ever been - and I definitely haven't had any complaints about my belly since!"
