Graphic Images: Shocking photos of the Pakistan Army Public School massacre
These are the first heartbreaking pictures of one of the teachers, who were burnt alive in front of pupils during a massacre by Taliban gunmen at a school in Pakistan - plus the scenes of devastation the attack left behind.
Tahira Kazi (pictured above), the principal of the Army Public School and College in Peshawar, was set on fire by jihadists who slaughtered 142 people, most of them children.
Tahira is believed to have been targeted because she's married to a retired army colonel, Kazi Zafrullah. There will also be a Mass Funeral today to lay to rest all victims and the Pakistani prime minister had lifted a moratorium on the death penalty. see more photos after the cut...

Professor Yemi Osinbajo is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Senior Partner in the Law firm of Simmons Cooper Partners. Yemi Osibanjo is a professor of law and was the head of department of Public Law at the University of Lagos (1997-1999).

Nigeria: Human parts dealers arrest in Ogun State
Two suspected human parts dealers identified as Dipo Olorunto and one Baba Isegun aka Asiwaju have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command while trying to sell human parts over the weekend at Atan Ota area of Ogun State.
Daily Independent, reports that 35 year old Dipo Olorunto who claims to be farmer and married with four children, said he was contacted by a friend of Baba Isegun to help him get a human skull which was to be used for the treatment of mentally ill patients. Dipo said he got the skull at Cotonou, Benin Republic for N12,500.
"Baba Isegun told me to bring a human skull for him to buy. He said he uses it to treat sicknesses such as madness. I work as a farmer in Atan Ota area. It was a friend who introduced me to Baba Isegun that I could help him get human parts. I have to go to Cotonou to buy the head. I wanted to sell it to him for N20, 000. But police arrested me before I got to him.” he said
he Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, who confirmed the arrest said the suspects will soon be charged to court. He said that Baba Isegun took ill while in police custody and has been released on health grounds but will return to stand trial when he becomes medically fit.

The National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Oyegun says the party's presidential flag bearer, Gen. Buhammadu Buhari rtd will
make his running mate known today December 17th. Chief John made this known while speaking to newsmen yesterday.
"I have a feeling that he (Muhammadu Buhari) will speak to you tomorrow on who his running mate will be. The party has consulted with the candidate and we have reached some agreement and he will address you tomorrow."Some folks are saying they want Governor Fashola and not Bola Tinubu. However, all ears are itchy to hear who it would be amongst the selected, Governor Fashola of Lagos state, Governor Amaechi of Rivers state, former Lagos state Governor Bola Tinubu, Adams Oshiomhole of Edo state. Well, according to INEC election guidelines, the APC has till Thursday December 18th to announce its Presidential and vice presidential candidates.

Mysterious sleeping sickness hits Kazakhstanis Village
A mysterious sleeping epidemic that makes residents to doze off for days, which hit the residents of Kalachi, in northern Kazakhstan has remained a mystery for years. According to Doctors, the sickness known as "Sleepy Hollow" is caused by excessive fluid in the brain.
The strange sleeping disorder which is getting worse, with nearly 14% of the town's 600 residents having been affected, leaves people feeling dizzy, unable to stand, fatigued and with memory problems. However, the doctors have been unable to identify the cause of the condition that has affected residents of Kalachi for nearly four years.

In a statement released by its spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, Afghan Taliban said;

intentional killing of innocent people, children and women are against

Though, Pakistani Taliban are separate from Afghan Taliban but are allied
across the border and both aim to overthrow their own governments and
establish an Islamic state.

EFCC: N1.2m Bribe: Court Orders Medical Director’s Arrest

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja today issued a bench warrant against the Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre, Owo, Ondo State, Dr Olufemi Omotoso for failing to appear in court for arraignment in a N1.2million bribe case.
Omotoso and his alleged accomplice Ayo Owoka, who is a lawyer, were charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on a 5-count charge bordering on conspiracy, offering of gratification and giving false information to a public officer.

Football star Thierry Henry quits professional soccer
French soccer star Thierry Henry has retired from professional football after 20 years of playing as striker for top clubs like Barcelona, Arsenal & France. Henry revealed his retirement on his Facebook page and said he will be returning to London to join Sky Sports as a football expert and ambassador.
“After 20 years in the game I have decided to retire from professional football. It has been an incredible journey and I would like to thank all the fans, team mates and individuals involved with AS Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal FC, FC Barcelona, the New York Red Bulls and of course the French national team that have made my time in the game so special. It is now time for a different career path and I am pleased to say that I will be returning to London and joining Sky Sports. Breaking News: Taliban gunmen storm military-run school in Pakistan and shoot dead EIGHTY-FOUR children as young as five
At least 100 people have been killed, including 84 children, after Taliban gunmen stormed a military school in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, in one of the worst ever militant attacks to hit the troubled region.
Mail Online reports:
The attack started with the gunmen entering the 500-pupil school - which has students in grades 1-10, thought to be ages 5 to 14 - in the early hours and shooting at random, going from classroom to classroom.

A 13-year-old Russian teenager, Masha Kuznetsova has been left partially blind and disfigured after an eyelash treatment caused severe chemical burns around her eyes.

According to her parents, Masha was taken to a beauty salon in the city of Volgograd, in south-western Russia's Volograd Oblast were they paid the equivalent of £3 to have both their daughter's eyebrows and lashes tinted and get her ready for her next stage performance as a soloist in Volgograd Cossack ensemble.
Sergey Kuznetsov, 42, Masha's father said: "The beauty salon that used to do her make-up suggested the colouring would make it quicker to get ready, and we agreed. When it all went wrong, I was shocked that they didn't even apologise."
