Pictured above-left, sitting next to her rapist this Afghan woman known only by her first name Gulnaz was forced to marry her her cousin's husband-Asadullah raped her as a teen of 16-years-old.
Gulnaz from Kabul-based woman was abandoned by her family even though she pregnant as a result of the rape; as its a crime in Afghan to sleep with a married man whether its rape or not. She was sentenced to two years in prison by a Kabul court for 'adultery by force', but later was increased to 12 years following an appeal.
Speaking with CNN, Gulnaz revealed she married Asadullah as it was the only hope of a reduced sentence and for her daughter's future.
"I didn't want to ruin the life of my daughter or leave myself helpless so I agreed to marry him. We are traditional people. When we get a bad name, we prefer death to living with that name in society." she said.

See The Venezuelan Model That Wears Corset 23 Hours A Day To Achieve Extreme Hourglass Figure

Meet Aleira Avendano, 25-year-old Venezuelan Model, who has been wearing a corset 23 hours a day, for the past six years all in a bid to achieve an extreme tiny waist. With 34 double "D" breasts, an enlarged derriere, and a 20-inch waist, Aleira shockingly looks like an hourglass.

According to Aleira, she began ‘waist’ training as a teenager and now her skinny waist now attracts attention wherever she goes.
“People stop what they’re doing and stare – everywhere I go I get attention. People shout at me in the street – they can’t believe that figure is real. I’m completely obsessed with belts and corsets – I even sleep with them on. It’s not pain – it’s more pleasure. I love the feeling of pleasure and only take it off for an hour a day to rest and wash myself. I don’t feel a thing, it doesn’t bother me at all." She said.
Notwithstanding the health issues that wearing corsets can cause, Aleira doesn't agree with her Doctor-Dr. Andrés Ruiz.

"NO Kardashian Parking Anytime" Signs Hit Streets Of Los Angeles

A London-born street artist known as "Plastic Jesus" has taken a bold step against the Kardashian Klan by posting 'NO Kardashian Parking Anytime' signs around Los Angeles this week.

Plastic Jesus(pictured left) mounted seven of 'NO Kardashian Parking Anytime' signs around Hollywood, even in front of the Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian-owned clothing store Dash and other hot spots in LA city as "The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture."
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter he said that he came up with the idea for the piece while driving down Melrose Avenue a few weeks ago, when traffic came to a complete halt when one of the Kardashian sisters walked out of a storefront and paparazzi swarmed to grab a picture.

"The Kardashian family has become ingrained in our culture. We've allowed mainstream media to become so profit-driven, we are sacrificing genuine news stories to satiate our vapid celebrity obsessions. I guarantee that same number of paparazzi was far greater than any number of photographers chasing real news." (see the signs after the cut...)

Be Magnanimous In Victory, Obasanjo Tells Buhari As He Congratulates Him

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has congratulated Gen Buhari on his victory today in the Presidential election. Also has urged him to be magnanimous in victory and fight corruption when he assumes office--"start binding the wounds and bitterness occasioned by the campaign and the evil disciples.”

Mr. Obasanjo said this in a message released this evening.

His statement below....
"With so much harm already done to many national institutions including the military, which proudly nurtured you and me, you will have a lot to do on institution reform – education, healthcare, economy, security, infrastructure, power, youth employment, agri-business, oil and gas, external affairs, cohesiveness of our nation and ridding our land of corruption.
Your varied and wide experience will undoubtedly stand you in good stead. is blessed with men and women of goodwill, character and virtue across the board that you can mobilise to join hands with you in the reform, repairs and re-direction that will be imperative to put Nigeria back on the fast lane of good governance, unity, cohesiveness, development and progress. For me, the totality of 2015 elections hold many lessons for our democracy and democratisation process, which are both maturing. On this occasion, the system has been unnecessarily overheated before and particularly during the campaigns when emphasis was more on trivialities and hate, divisive, undignifying and disrespectful statements and comments rather than on pressing issues requiring attention.

I know that in victory, you will be magnanimous to start binding the wounds and bitterness occasioned by the campaign and the evil disciples.”

President Jonathan's Official Statement On 2015 Presidential Election

Find below the official statement of President Jonathan after the presidential election results today....

Fellow Nigerians,

I thank you all for turning out en-masse for the March 28 General Elections.

I promised the country free and fair elections. I have kept my word. I have also expanded the space for Nigerians to participate in the democratic process. That is one legacy I will like to see endure.

Although some people have expressed mixed feelings about the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I urge those who may feel aggrieved to follow due process based on our constitution and our electoral laws, in seeking redress.

As I have always affirmed, nobody’s ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian. The unity, stability and progress of our dear country is more important than anything else.

"Never Give Up, You Might Not Know When You Would Have Victory" - Just My Saying...Lol

Failed three times at the presidency, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is finally on his way into Aso Rock, the Nigeria’s presidential palace, as the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Retired Major-General Buhari contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, polled a total of 15,416,221 votes while candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan(the incumbent) got 12,853,162 votes.
With an outright victory in 21 states, Gen. Buhari also met the constitutional requirement by getting more than one quarter of the votes in 27 states.
Though the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to officially declare the winner.
GMB's victory makes it the second time since 1999, a retired military officer would become Nigeria’s president.
In 2003 he contested under the platform of the now defunct All Peoples Party, APP; but lost to Olusegun Obasanjo in his second term. Gave another shot after four years under ANPP, and lost to late Umar Yar’adua of the PDP.
Again, Gen. Buhari contested under CPC, the Congress for Progressive Change in April, 2011, against the incumbent, President Goodluck Jonathan. But this time on Saturday, March 28th, He contested under APC and won....

GEJ Congratulates GMB On His Victory - True Demonstration Of Sportsmanship

President Goodluck Jonathan has demonstrated the true spirit of sportsmanship and heroism.  I hope other contestants for any political position(s) can learn from this example.

GEJ's congratulations to Gen. Buhari was confirmed by a former Military Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar--Who has been a key player in the peace committee that orchestrated the peace accord that was signed by the presidential candidates and has the responsibility of ensuring that peace reigns, even after the announcement of the results.

President Goodluck placed Nigeria's unity and peace above his ambition to be president. He conducted a free, credible and fair election regardless of the outcome. Even accepted defeat before the INEC could declare it. He has set a good example. He's a true leader. Thank you your Excellency. Thank you President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
