Lagos State Government has declared free ride on BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) and BFS (Bus Franchise Scheme) during Christmas and New year days for all Lagosians.
The buses will provide a free fare ride on December 25, 2014 and January 1, 2015 respectively to ease movement around the city of Lagos between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
According to the Managing Director of the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, this would enable Lagosians move around the city unhindered. An appealed to those who would put their vehicles on the road to drive with care and observe all traffic rules.
